SPRING HAS SPRUNG...SORT OF
Spring is sure trying to arrive, a little more effort would be nice! :D The mercury is above 0 in the day and hides back under it by night. It will come but after a long cold winter, the sooner the better!
Mary Jane, aka Little Foot, has now foaled!!! On March 22/08 at 6:00 Mary Jane strolled away from the group of people at our farm to look at the horses, walked into her shelter, and foaled a beautiful and healthy filly! Her foal, CLGH Tessa Azzura, is almost all white, with a brown medicine hat, a black
mane, white tail with a black tip, and 2 blue eyes...just like Dad!
We named her Tessa Azzura after
Ed's sister Teresa, who we don't see as often as we'd like, was at our farm celebrating her
birthday...March 22. And our Daughter McKenzie came up with Azzura which means "Sky Blue", like her

The moving day is getting close. Only a few more weeks until the big 5 mile move. We have purchsed a farm a few miles east of where we are now, and will be offering indoor and outdoor boarding. Click

There is an indoor heated riding arena, an indoor heated round pen, a gigantic outdoor riding arena, and the gates are across the street from Elk Island Park and only a few hundred meters from the Cooking Lake - Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area.
